Here's a movie I can't wait to watch --- X-Men Origins: Wolverine! Sorry, I just posted a link to see the trailer, didn't know how to upload the trailer itself But it works perfectly
I've always admired Hugh Jackman, who happens to be the SEXIEST MAN ALIVE in 2008 The movie shows on May 01, 2009. It's a date!!!!
It was the day after Christmas, and the pastor of the church was looking over the manger in the large, outdoor nativity set on the church lawn when he noticed the baby Jesus figure was missing. Just then, he noticed a boy down the street pulling a red wagon—with the baby Jesus figure inside.
The pastor caught up with the boy and said, “Hi there. Where did you get baby Jesus, my little friend?”
The boy replied, “I got him from the church.”
“Why did you take him?”
The boy replied, “Well, about a week before Christmas I prayed to the little Lord Jesus. I told him if he would bring me a red wagon for Christmas, I would give him a ride around the block in it.”
Choking back a smile, the pastor responded, “I hope he enjoys the ride!”
It's a romantic full moon, when Pedro said, "Hey, Mamacita, let's do Weeweechu."
"Oh no, not now, let's look at the moon!" said Rosita.
"Oh, c'mon, baby, let's you and I do Weeweechu. I love you and it's the perfect time," Pedro begged.
"But I wanna just hold your hand and watch the moon." replied Rosita.
"Please, corazoncito, just once, do Weeweechu with me."
Rosita looked at Pedro and said, "OK, one time, we'll do Weeweechu."
Pedro grabbed his guitar and they both sang.....
"Weeweechu a Merry Christmas, Weeweechu a Merry Christmas, Weeweechu a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!!!"
HAPPY HOLIDAYS, everyone!!!!!!!!!

A little political humor.....L-R: Obama, Palin, Biden, & McCain.....don't they all look , uummm, I don't know what word to use --- cute??
Here's something I would like to share with everyone. Maybe some of you may have already read it because someone has sent it to you. But it's still worth reading over and over again. To me, the message it makes me want to instill in my heart is that kindness comes in many forms, that angels do walk this Earth. Not the kind of literal angels that we see in religious pictures, but more of angels in the flesh. Many of them are considered strangers who take that extra mile to show compassion and share overwhelming love to whoever will need it. I call them "Angels without wings"..................please read on, I cried the whole time I was reading it, have that tissue ready.....
AM I A FIREMAN YET?
In Phoenix, Arizona, a 26-yr-old mother stared down at her 6-yr-old son, who was dying of leukemia. Although her heart was filled with sadness, she also had a strong feeling of determination. Like any parent, she wanted her son to grow up & fulfill all his dreams. Now that was no longer possible. The leukemia would see to that. But she still wanted her son's dream to come true.
She took her son's hand & asked, "Billy, did you ever think about what you wanted to be once you grew up? Did you ever dream & wish of what you would do with your life?"
"Mommy, I always wanted to be a fireman when I grew up."
Mom smiled back and said, "Let's see if we can make your wish come true."
Later that day, she went to her local fire department in Phoenix, Arizona, where she met Fireman Bob, who had a heart as big as Phoenix.
She explained her son's final wish & asked if it might be possible to give her 6-yr-old son a ride around the block on a fire engine.
Fireman Bob said, "Look, we can do better than that. If you'll have your son ready at 7:00 Wednesday morning, we'll make him an honorary Fireman for the whole day. He can come down to the fire station, eat with us, go out on all the fire calls, the whole nine yards! & if you'll give us his sizes, we'll get a real uniform for him, with a real fire hat - not a toy -- one with the emblem of the Phoenix Fire Department on it, a yellow slicker like we wear & rubber boots. They're all manufactured right here in Phoenix, so we can get them fast."
Three days later, Fireman Bob picked up Billy, dressed him in his uniform, & escorted him from his hospital bed to the waiting hook & ladder truck. Billy got to sit on the back of the truck & help steer it back to the fire station. He was in heaven!!!
There were 3 fire calls that day & Billy got to go out on all 3 calls. He rode in the different fire engines, the Paramedic's van, & even the fire chief's car. He was also videotaped for the local news program.
Having his dream come true with all the love & attention that was lavished upon him so deeply touched Billy, that he lived 3 months longer than any doctor thought possible.
1 night, all of his vital signs began to drop dramatically & the head nurse, who believed in the hospice concept - that no one should die alone - began to call the family members to the hospital. Then she remembered the day Billy had spent as a fireman, so she called the Fire chief & asked if it would be possible to send a fireman in uniform to the hospital to be with Billy as he made his transition.
The Chief replied. "We can do better than that. We'll be there in 5 minutes. Will you do me a favor? When you hear the sirens screaming & see the lights flashing, will you announce over the PA system that there is no fire? it's the Department coming to see one of it's finest members one more time. & will you open the window to his room?"
About 5 minutes later, a hook & ladder truck arrived at the hospital & extended its ladder up to Billy's 3rd floor open window --- 16 firefighters climbed up the ladder into Billy's room.
With his mother's permission, they hugged him & held him & told him how much they loved him. With his dying breath, Billy looked up at the Fire Chief & said, "Chief, am I really a fireman now?"
"Billy, you are, & the Head Chief, Jesus, is holding your hand," the chief said.
With those words, Billy smiled & said, " I know, He's been holding my hand all day, & the angels have been singing"...................................
He closed his eyes 1 last time...........................................................
--- Something we all do when we leave a hotel/motel. Leave the card at the front desk! Interesting article. This is pretty good info. Never even thought about key cards containing anything Other than an access code for the room! HOTEL KEY CARDS Ever wonder what is on your magnetic key card? Answer: A. Customer's name B. Customer's partial home address C. Hotel room number D. Check-in date and out dates e. Customer's credit card number and expiration date! When you turn them in to the front desk your personal information is there for any employee to access by simply scanning the card in the hotel scanner. An employee can take a hand full of cards home and using a scanning device, access the information onto a laptop computer and go shopping at your expense. Simply put, hotels do not erase the information on these cards Until an employee reissues the card to the next hotel guest. At that time, the new guest's information is electronically 'overwritten' on the card and the previous guest's information is erased in the overwriting process. But until the card is rewritten for the next guest, it usually is kept in a drawer at the front desk with YOUR INFORMATION ON IT! The bottom line is: Keep the cards, take them home with you, or destroy them NEVER leave them behind in the room or room wastebasket, and NEVER turn them into the front desk when you check out of a room. They will not charge you for the card (it's illegal) and You'll be sure you are not leaving a lot of valuable personal information on it that could be easily lifted off with any simple scanning device card reader. For the same reason, if you arrive at the airport and discover you still have the card key in your pocket, do not toss it in an airport trash basket. Take it home and destroy it by cutting it up, especially through the elec tronic information strip! If you have a small magnet, pass it across the magnetic strip several times. Then try it in the door, it will not work. It erases everything on the card. Information courtesy of: Police Service.

Here's something that a friend e-mailed me.....how thoughtful of him.....
--------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----- PUT YOUR CAR KEYS BESIDE YOUR BED AT NIGHT
Tell your spouse, your children, your neighbors, your parents your Dr office, the check-out girl at the market, everyone you run across. Put your car keys beside your bed at night. If you hear a noise outside your home or someone trying to get in your house, just press the panic button for your car. The alarm will be set off, and the horn will continue to sound until eith er you turn it off or the car battery dies. This tip came from a neighborhood watch coordinator. Next time you come home for the night and you start to put your keys away, think of this: It's a security alarm system that you probably already have and requires no installation. Test it. It will go off from most everywhere inside your house and will keep honking until your battery runs down or until you reset it with the button on the key fob chain. It works if you park in your driveway or garage If your car alarm goes off when someone is trying to break in your house, odds are the burglar rapist won't stick around... After a few seconds all the neighbors will be looking out their windows to see who is out there and sure enough the criminal won't want that. And remember to carry your keys while walking to your car in a parking lot. The alarm can work the same way there ..... This is something that should really be shared h everyone. Maybe it could save a life or a sexual abuse crime. P.S. I am sending this to everyone I know because I think it is fantastic. Would also be useful for any emergency, such as a heart attack, where you can't reach a phone. My Mom has suggested to my Dad that he carry his car keys with him in case he falls outside and she doesn't hear him. He can activate the car alarm and then she'll know there's a problem. Please pass this on even IF you've read it before. It's a reminder.

THE ANGEL
A baby asked God, "They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?"
God said, "Your angel will be waiting for you and will take care of you."
The baby furthered inquired, "But tell me, here in heaven I don't have to do anything but sing and smile and be happy."
God said, "Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you. And you will feel your angel's love and be very happy."
Again the baby asked, "And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me if I don't know the language?"
God said, "Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweetest words you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to speak."
"And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?"
God said, "Your angel will place your hands together and teach you how to pray."
"Who will protect me?"
God said, "Your angel will defend you even if it means risking it's life."
"But I will be sad because I will not see you anymore."
God said, "Your angel will always talk to you about ME and will teach you the way to come back to ME, even though I will always be next to you."
At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from Earth could be heard and the baby hurriedly asked, "God, if I am to leave now, please tell me my angel's name."
God said, "You will simply call her "M O M".....

WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU FAILED?? GOTCHA!!!!! I TOLD YOU IT WAS TRICKY; I WARNED YOU FIRST, DIDN'T I??
Growing up, I've had this huge attraction to the Native American cultures. I remember my younger sister used to tease me, "Maybe you were an Indian in your past life, Gypsy.".....Yeah, right, silly girl.....an Indian frog, maybe...HaHaHa!!! Anyway, I know I haven't outgrown it...I'm still as fascinated & mesmerized as ever. Reading about them, & seeing them in movies, I just feel their spirits, very strong, yet unseen. I can't help being amazed by their beliefs & stories. And to add the fact that their men are very.....uummm.....SEXY.....but let me skip that part HaHaHa!!!One thing I'm very fascinated with is this thing called a DREAMCATCHER. It is something I collect for myself, or buy as presents for friends & family, & visiting relatives.....They come in different colors & sizes, just beautiful! In Ojibwa (Chippewa) culture, a dreamcatcher is a handmade object based on a willow hoop, on which is woven a loose net or web. It is then decorated with personal and sacred items such as feathers and beads. Hung above the bed, it is used as a charm to protect a person from nightmares, especially children. The Ojibwa believe that it filters a person's dreams. Only good dreams would be allowed to pass through the center hole to the sleeping person, while the bad dreams are trapped in the web, where they perish in the light of dawn. Cool, isn't it?? While dreamcatchers originated in the Ojibwa Nation, they came to be seen by some as a symbol of unity among the various Indian Nations, and as a general symbol of identification with Native American cultures.
SPAGHETTI For several years, a man was having an affair with an Italian woman. One night, she confided in him that she was pregnant. Not wanting to ruin his reputation or his marriage, he paid her a large sum of money if she would go to Italy to secretly have the child. If she stayed in Italy to raise the child, he would also provide child support until the child turned 18. She agreed, but asked how he would know when the baby was born. To keep it discreet, he told her to simply mail him a postcard and write "Spaghetti" on the back. He would then arrange for the child support payments to begin. One day, about 9 months later, he came home to his confused wife. "Honey," she said, "you received a very strange postcard today." "Oh, just give it to me and I'll explain it later," he said. The wife obeyed and watched as her husband read the card, turned white, and fainted! On the card was written: "Spaghetti, Spaghetti, Spaghetti, Spaghetti, Spaghetti. Three with meatballs, two without. Send extra sauce."
A wonderful friend of mine, an Army veteran, sent me this e-mail that I, in turn , would like to share with my filipino.net friends & other members. I love it when he sends me very meaningful & inspirational messages that help keep me grounded & stay focused on the little things in life that others might not even notice, but to others, mean so much. You see, life is NOT just about me, myself, I, mine...but rather, what I can share & give to OTHERS unconditionally. Every day, we read and hear so much about BAD things people do.....well, this one is WORTH every front page of every newspaper in the world, WORTH spreading around.....please read on.....

Also, most years, groups of Maine school kids combine an educational trip to D.C. with this event to help out. Making this even remarkable is the fact that Harrington is one of the poorest parts of the state. ***What good have I done for my fellowmen today? Beautiful Story.....makes you understand that things happen for a reason..... The brand new pastor and his wife, newly assigned to their first ministry to reopen a church in suburban Brooklyn, arrived in early October, excited about their opportunities. When they saw their church, it was very run down and needed much work. They set a goal to have everything done in time to have their first service on Christmas Eve. They worked hard, repairing pews, plastering walls, painting, etc., and on Dec. 18, were ahead of schedule and just about finished. On Dec. 19, a terrible tempest--a driving rainstorm hit the area and lasted for 2 days. On the 21st, the pastor went over to the church. His heart sank when he saw that the roof had leaked, causing a large area of plaster about 20 x 8 ft., to fall off the front wall of the sanctuary just behind the pulpit, beginning about head high. The pastor cleaned up the mess on the floor, and not knowing what else to do but postpone the Christmas Eve service, headed home. On the way, he noticed that a local business was having a flea market type sale for charity, so he stopped in. One of the items was a beautiful, handmade, ivory-colored, crocheted tablecloth with exquisite work, fine colors, and a Cross embroidered right in the center. It was just the right size to cover up the hole in the front wall. He bought it and headed back to the church. By this time, it had started to snow. An older woman running from the opposite direction was trying to catch the bus.....she missed it. The pastor invited her to wait in the warm church for the next bus due in 45 minutes. She sat in a pew and paid no attention to the pastor while he got a ladder, hangers, etc., to put up the tablecloth as a wall tapestry. The pastor could hardly believe how beautiful it looked and it covered up the entire problem area. The he noticed the woman walking down the center aisle. Her face was like a sheet....."Pastor," she asked, "where did you get that tablecloth?" The pastor explained. The woman asked him to check the lower right corner to see if the initials, EBG, were crocheted into it. They were. These were the initials of the woman, and she had made this tablecloth 35 years before in Austria. The woman could hardly believe it as the pastor told how he had just gotten the tablecloth. The woman explained that before the war, she and her husband were well-to-do people in Austria. When the Nazis came, she was forced to leave. Her husband was going to follow her the next week. He was captured, sent to prison, and never saw her husband or her home again. The pastor wanted to give her the tablecloth, but she made the pastor keep it for the church. The pastor insisted on driving her home, that was the least he could do.....She lived on the other side of Staten Island and was only in Brooklyn for the day for a housecleaning job. What a wonderful service they had on Christmas Eve! The church was almost full. The music and the spirit were great. At the end of the service, the pastor and his wife greeted everyone at the door and many said that they would return. One older man, whom the pastor recognized from the neighborhood, continued to sit in one of the pews and stare, and the pastor wondered why he wasn't leaving. The man asked him where he got the tablecloth on the front wall because it was identical to one that his wife had made years ago when they lived in Austria before the war, and how could there be 2 tablecloths so much alike. He told the pastor how the Nazis came, how he forced his wife to flee for her safety, and he was supposed to follow her, but he was arrested and put in prison.....He never saw his wife or his home again all the 35 years in between. The pastor asked the man if he would allow the pastor to take him for a little ride. They drove to Staten Island and to the same house where the pastor had taken the woman 3 days earlier. He helped the man climb the 3 flights of stairs to the woman's apartment, knocked on the door, and he saw the greatest Christmas reunion he could ever imagine!
